  • This week the sixth annual UK Search Awards were held in London, recognising the best and brightest of the United Kingdom's search marketing industry. Hosted by comedian Jason Manford, the 2016 awards were the biggest yet with over 650 attendees from among the country's top search marketing agencies and in-house teams, gathering to celebrate this year's best achievements in SEO and PPC.

This year's awards shortlist featured some of the UK's biggest brands and most successful agencies. Belfast-based SEO agency Polemic Digital was among the nominees, having been shortlisted for three awards in very competitive categories: Best Local Campaign, Best Low Budget Campaign, and Best Small SEO Agency.

The night turned out to be a smashing success for Polemic Digital, as they scooped up two awards: Best Low Budget Campaign for their work for Super Saver Oil, and Best Small SEO Agency.

These award wins are an especially proud moment for Polemic's founder Barry Adams, considering he started Polemic Digital only two short years ago:

"It's amazing to see how far we've already come in such a short time. When I started the agency I hoped we'd eventually get to this stage, but I never thought we'd get there so quickly. It certainly sets the bar for future achievements."

Once again a Northern Ireland-based agency punches above its weight and is recognised as best in class on the national stage. This week has seen multiple NI agencies scoop up national awards, showing that Northern Ireland truly harbours some of the greatest digital talent in the UK and Ireland.
