  • SpotX, an advertising platform for web publishers that specialises in the programmatic buying of video ads, is inviting developers, designers, engineers and other members of Northern Ireland’s tech community to enjoy some drinks and nibbles and get to know the team at its office warming party on Tuesday 14th March.

With countries around the world celebrating International Women’s Day this week, it’s worth pointing out that SpotX is also a passionate advocate of women in technology, partnering with NCWIT and other similar organisations that focus on recruiting and retaining more women in tech, and is keen to encourage female engineers and other women in the technology sector to join the party and get to know its Belfast team.

Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2007, SpotX established its software development team in Belfast in 2014, which has since grown by 300%, expanding from four team members to 16. As its fast-growing team makes clear, the innovative adtech company is fully committed to its presence in Northern Ireland and to the tech community in Belfast.

Over 7 billion video ad decisions are now processed through the SpotX platform each day, with ads delivered to more than 600 million people in over 190 countries each month. The company plans to add two more teams to its Belfast office this year to support this phenomenal growth, and the time has come to move its expanding team to a new home.

With that in mind, SpotX is inviting members of the Northern Ireland tech community to meet its Engineering team and help them celebrate the company’s impressive growth at its office warming party on 14th March.

Previously based in the Scottish Provident Building, the SpotX team is moving to a dedicated space on the 8th floor of The Boat, on Belfast’s Queens Square, where the party will kick off at 5.30pm and run to around 8pm.

To RSVP for SpotX Belfast’s office warming party visit the company’s Eventbrite page.
