  • IRP Commerce, an innovative e-commerce startup based at Catalyst Inc, has been shortlisted in one of the UK’s most prestigious e-commerce awards– alongside the likes of Amazon, Apple and Netflix.

Nominated in the Best B2B category for its e-commerce platform, the E-commerce Awards for Excellence will take place in London’s Olympia next week.

IRP Commerce hopes to come out on top thanks to the work its platform has done in growing a host of Northern Irish companies over the past decade – culminating in combined customer online sales in excess of £1 billion.

Speaking about the nomination, Daniel Loughlin, Founder and CEO of IRP Commerce said, “We are well-known in Northern Ireland due to the fact that many of the most successful online e-commerce businesses have used our platform at some point, but being able to showcase our work to a national audience will raise the profile of our company and lead to more UK wide business.

“Selling online can be challenging, but our platform is world-class so we are looking forward to competing on the same stage as other major global players.”

Another Northern Irish company, Christies Direct, which is one of the world’s largest online pet grooming stores, has also been shortlisted in the awards. Based in Ballymoney it uses IRP Commerce’s platform to sell its products to an international audience.
