  • Invest Northern Ireland is inviting budding startup founders from across Northern Ireland to attend a free entrepreneurship event in Templepatrick on Thursday 27th April, where they will have an opportunity to learn about the EU’s Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme that offers new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced founders that are running startups or SMES in other parts of the EU.

The programme is open to entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland provided they are either planning to launch a new business and have already put together a viable business, or they have recently launched their own startup (within the last three years).

Programme participants will be matched with a seasoned entrpreneur in another EU country, staying with them for up to six months while the pair collaborate and exchange business ideas and entrepreneurial insights.

New or aspiring entrepreneurs from across Northern Ireland can learn more about the programme by attending a free event at the Hilton Hotel Templepatrick Golf & Country Club on Thursday 27th April 2017, where they will hear from Tom Kinney, Chair of Enterprise Europe Network NI, an organisation that can help with the matching process for the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. Attendees will also hear from local host companies and entrepreneurs on how entrepreneurs can benefit from this EU programme.

Northern Ireland entrepreneurs can register to attend this free event now.
