LEGO's former Head of Global Brands is to address over 150 members of Northern Ireland's local business community at a leadership event organised by Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber) and Electric Ireland in Belfast later this month.
Christian Majgaard headed brand and marketing strategy for Lego and had overall responsibility for worldwide branding, marketing and business innovation. He also led the internationally recognised brand into the computer games market, and film merchandising with the Star Wars, Harry Potter and Spiderman franchises.
Named one of the ‘21 Leaders for the 21st Century’, Christian is a highly respected figure in marketing and innovation and currently divides his time between creative and brand consulting, non-executive roles, writing and speaking.
Lego one of the most powerful brands in the world, is best known for its interlocking toy bricks which it first manufactured in 1949. Figures from 2015, state that over 600 billion Lego parts have now been manufactured. Since then the global company has expanded into movies, games, and amusement parks.
The event forms part of NI Chamber’s ‘Growing Something Brilliant’ leadership series of events aimed at inspiring business confidence and growth through outstanding leadership.
