    Company Description

We pledge "to prove IT can make a real difference to our customer's businesses". We work hard to ensure we understand what our customers need from their technology solutions and then we deliver.

We are an award-winning company who provide world class customer service; we think big and we hire great people. Version 1 are more than just another IT services company - we are leaders in implementing and supporting Oracle, Microsoft and AWS technologies.

Invest in us and we’ll invest in you; if you are driven, committed and up for a challenge, we want to meet you.

    Job Description

Working as part of a highly skilled team, you'll get the opportunity to work with new and emerging technologies as well as gain recognised certifications through our incentivised certification scheme.

As part of the Version 1 team, not only will you be joining a growing company that is recognised for its commitment to its people, but you’ll be working on contracts that contribute to the very fabric of our society, building and improving services that we all depend on.

You'll have a track record of high-quality delivery, combined with a keen appetite for all aspects of software development. You’ll have the opportunities to recommend and champion the use of new technologies whether for direct use in products or in supporting the development lifecycle. You’ll be hands-on, able to contribute individually, and should have experience within a fast-paced collaborative environment.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills

    • JavaScript; Client and Server (Node.js, React)
    • REST and SOAP services
    • CI/CD pipeline, Bamboo and/or Jenkins (some ‘decent’ experience in this area)
    • Unit/Integration testing frameworks – ideally Jest
    • Strong defect resolution skills (understanding the fix not just applying fix)
    • Some working knowledge of AWS would be nice but isn’t essential

    Additional Information
