  Your day-to-day

  You will be contributing to the design and development of our core data and user services that provide the backbone of our detection, products and end-user experiences. As a company with global, large-scale data, your everyday actions will be crucial to the success of our businesses and our customers. You will gain experience working with stream processing and billions of events as we continue to innovate and provide next-level threat protection and security visibility to our customers.

  What you bring to the team

  As a Backend Software Engineer on our Infrastructure Hosting team, you have a solid technical foundation and enjoy working with high performing teams. You have an eagerness to learn and pick up new technologies as required. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and are comfortable with the modern cadence of continuous delivery. 

  • Expertise in at least one programming language (preferably Java) 

  • Knowledge and experience with Kafka, Kinesis, and/or other streaming platforms

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience working with large datasets and/or cloud-based datastores

  • You are passionate about uptime and about building services that are both scalable and reliable

  • Previous Python experience would be beneficial

  • Exposure to other public/private clouds a plus 

  • Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
