IT Helpdesk Specialist

  • We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide enterprise-level assistance to our employees. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help install applications and programmes. If you are a natural helper, enjoy assisting people with computer issues and can explain technical details simply, this could be the role for you.
     
    You will be a member of our IT Operations team reporting to the Director of Information Technology. 

    Who You Are - the essentials (Some of the things required to be successful in the role):

      • At least 3 years’ experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role 
      • Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments 
      • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products 
      • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues 
      • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g., Jira ServiceDesk, Zendesk, etc.) 
      • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills 
      • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal 

    Who You Are - the desirables (It’s a plus if you have): 

      • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or similar technologies is a plus 
      • Exposure to working with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, O365 admin)
