The post holder will deliver the enterprise network of computing and communication resources which is critical to the current operational requirements of the University. They will lead the development and support of this key resource to meet the future aspirations of the University.

The successful candidate must have:• Primary Degree in computer science or related subject.
• Five years’ substantial experience of managing a corporate or extensive network service and the associated systems and solutions.
• Must demonstrate a good working knowledge and practical experience of network technologies. In particular:
- Switching/Routing (LAN & WAN)
- Firewalls
- DHCP/DNS
- Data Centre Networking
- Wireless
• Experience of managing a sizeable team comprising qualified and experienced network professional and technical staff
