Senior Product Manager

    We are expanding our talented teams in Belfast. We are continuing to build teams that are fully functional with leadership, back- and front-end development, data engineering, product management and testing, located in Northern Ireland.    

    As a Senior Product Manager you’ll have a big impact across Apex Fintech Solutions. You’ll work on our Margins product, which allows brokerage companies to extend credit to investors using their own securities as collateral.  This role will partner with our US based product team to impact the product strategy and our Belfast team to deliver customer features in a reliable, scalable, and secure product. This is a role for someone who flourishes in a fast-paced environment, has a customer/product mindset and has worked within a software delivery team. You thrive on solving problems and have proven success in delivering high quality, enterprise-level software that customers love.  

    You’ll be responsible for: 

    • Acting as a thought leader and enabling data driven decision making 

    • Perform research and data analysis to provide actionable insight 

    • Document business requirements in a way that demonstrates value, priority and definitions of acceptance 

    • Lead discussions to determine and understand expectations, process and requirements through, journey maps, scoping sessions and interviews 

    • Providing the link between the project team, customer (internal or external), development team and any third-party regarding software functionality throughout the development life cycle 

    • Participate in agile SDLC rituals to drive successful outcomes, reporting and collaboration 

    • Perform user or business acceptance on changes 

    What you need to succeed: 

    • The permanent right to live and work in the U.K. 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executives and non-technical leaders 

    • Knowledge of Financial Markets 

    • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and improve on existing approaches 

    • Extreme attention to detail; commitment to providing high integrity work 

    • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively 

    • Flexible; able to adapt to changing requirements and a diverse array of business requests  

    • Experience working with a team in an agile environment 

    • Extensive experience with data visualisation
