Senior Technical Writer

    As a Senior Technical Writer, you’ll have an opportunity to become part of a highly creative, collaborative, and successful Technical & Content Writing Team; in an exciting and fast-growing global company. 
     
    Our documentation team is spread across the US, UK, and India. Even though we’re distributed across the globe, we’re a very close-knit team of diverse people; we connect every day.  
     
    Our prime focus is to deliver high-quality content that helps our clients to do more with our rapidly evolving suite of solutions. We develop engaging documentation used by 1000’s of companies around the world.  
     
    You’ll enjoy working on a variety of projects with the support of UX designers, product managers, engineers, and a network of passionate subject-matter experts. Co-creation and collaboration are embedded into our walls.  
     
    We’re looking for a technical writer who understands how to make technical content clear, concise, and relevant; to produce the knowledge assets that our clients need. This role is ideal for a person who gets up to speed quickly, has the reflex to organize ideas automatically, and pursues information proactively.

    Core responsibilities

      • Plan, research, and write documentation of moderate to high complexity
      • Work closely with UX, Product, Engineering, and SMEs to understand how features work in-depth; and produce knowledge assets that clients need
      • Work with UX Designers to provide clear and compelling User Interface (UI) copy
      • Actively contribute to defining our technical writing processes, style guides, and standards
      • Expertise with documentation tools and practices
      • Master the use of our documentation environment/toolset, including the publishing platform and issue-tracking tools
      • Meet deadlines and complete multiple projects on aggressive schedules

    Who’s our ideal candidate?

      • 5 years minimum experience authoring high-quality knowledge content
      • Expert knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage
      • Strong experience developing content for online delivery
      • Experience reviewing documentation and providing constructive feedback to your peers
      • Familiar with issue tracking systems for task management (e.g. Jira)

    Desirable experience:

      • UX writing experience (crafting UI copy)
      • Using source control tools (such as Git) is a plus
      • Working with single-source documentation processes
      • Familiar with the translation/localization process
      •  Experience working in a distributed team environment, across U.S., APAC, and EU/UK time zone
