    The Cash Applications Coordinator will assist in providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. The main duty of the role is to process customer payments coming in from the bank, applying customer payments to open invoices, reconciling customer invoices to the bank activity, and reconciling the bank statement on a daily basis.  This person needs to be able to tackle new assignments and accomplish organizational priorities in a team environment. The candidate will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. At Allstate Identity Protection, our priority is to maintain the security of our participants.

     

    • Analyze and Post daily cash receipts from the bank statement (ACH, Lockbox)
    • Interpret Customer remittance details and translate in an organized format.
    • Analyze and Respond to Sensitive internal customer inquiries.    
    • Provide accounting support to finance personnel
    • Other duties as assigned

    Hours of work

    • Standard hours Mon – Fri;
    • Flexibility to meet business needs as required; Some over-time and hours aligned with US hours may be required during peak periods (WD 1-5) and projects.
    • Full time only.

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK
    • A-Level Education 
    • At least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivables or Banking Cash Reconciliations with general accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word and Excel) – Including VLookups and Pivot Tables
    • Strong work ethic and written/verbal communication skills
    • Customer Service with cross functional teams – High sensitivity customers (Sales staff, Account Managers, Implementation Team)
    • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree
    • Experience with accounting software (preferably NetSuite)
    • Salesforce experience a plus.
    • Possesses good written/oral communication skills and well organized
    • Possesses an inquisitive nature and demonstrates the ability to problem solve; not afraid to dig into the details and ask questions; ability to respond to ad hoc requests related to assigned tasks
    • Collaborative and prefers a team environment
    • Desire to learn about insurance products and insurance accounting
