    Your role in the team

We have a year-in-industry opportunity available starting Summer 2021 for an undergraduate in our Graphic Design team.

Based in Belfast, the Graphic Design Assistant will support the communications team by creating visual concepts, using computer software to communicate ideas that captivate and inform our 2400 employees across three sites in Northern Ireland and the wider Northern Ireland community. This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate who wants experience of all elements of the graphic design mix – such as logo design, digital graphics, print, photography, video and moving graphics.

The successful candidate will take on a range of key administration activities to aid in the smooth running of the team.

    • Provide design assistance to the graphic design and marketing team across digital and print mediums in a variety of channels
    • Visualize concepts in clear and effective ways to communicate a project's vision
    • Provide final assets for logo’s, brochures, posters, business cards, digital screens, digital designs, e campaigns, newsletters, video and photography
    • Liaising with printers to order merchandise and print collateral
    • Participate and contribute ideas for new project concepts and campaigns
    • Ensure adherence to existing brand guidelines and design within the brand identity

Placement Students who impress on their one-year placement with Allstate Northern Ireland may be made conditional offers of permanent employment with Allstate at the end of their placement for further opportunities where available.
