    Engineering Team:

    The Role:

    At Arity we are utilizing cutting edge development languages, tools, web services and cloud technologies to deliver amazing capabilities and products. We are searching for talented, technical engineers who can help design and develop our products further.

    A successful candidate will collaborate within the team and across other engineering teams in Arity to implement and deliver features.

    • You will work in an Agile Scrum Methodology
    • You will populate JIRA with backlog items.
    • You will evaluate detailed business, functional, and high-level technical requirements to create User Stories.
    • You will implement technical components, applying reusability and up to date mobile iOS development techniques, languages and best practices. 

     About You:

    • You have a proven ability to work on high priorities initiative with aggressive timelines leveraging an agile scrum framework.
    • You are comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment with a willingness to step up and take the initiative.
    • You have demonstrated a product mindset with an ability to set forward thinking and direction.
    • You have excellent listening and communication skills. You must be able to communicate   technical information clearly, across a range of technical and non-technical individuals
    • Good understanding and appreciation of industry trends within the mobile telematics space
    • Good research and analytical skills
    • Good problem-solving skills with a focus on code quality.

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

    • All candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK
    • A minimum of 4 years development experience,
    • A minimum of 2 years in iOS
    • Must clearly demonstrate high level knowledge and experience as an iOS Developer in Swift
    • Knowledge of Apple Best practices and coding standards.
    • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and delivery, for example Jenkins
    • Familiarity and Experience in TDD test driven development.
    • Strong understanding and experience of Agile Scrum principles.
    • Be a team player and partner with the Product Owner and Scrum Master.
    • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

    We also have some desirable criteria

    •  Willingness to learn and quickly adopt new technologies that impact telematics development
    •  Experience of Splunk, SiteCatalyst, Amplitude and Airship
    •  Experience writing and maintaining unit tests using XCTest, XCTestUI and OCMock
