    Your role in the team

    This is an entry level HR Administrator role based across Allstate Northern Ireland’s Derry/L’Derry and Strabane offices. The successful candidate will join a team of HR professionals in a busy environment, providing a range of services to around 2,400 employees across three sites.  This is a permanent role with responsibility for a range of key HR administration and support activities ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the HR Department. 

    • Providing assistance and information to employees on a wide range of HR matters
    • Managing the on-boarding and induction process for all new employees
    • Ownership of HR administration and personnel data management
    • Completing reference, visa letters and other documentation as required
    • Absence management administration
    • Management of the off-boarding process
    • Supporting other areas of the HR function with various projects and initiatives
    • Leading and supporting any CSR initiatives
    • Coordination of the Work Experience Programme including school engagement activities
    • Providing support for training activities as delegated by HR colleagues
    • Any other duties associated with the HR department

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

    • All candidates must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK
    • Degree in Human Resources with 2.1 classification or higher
    • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a HR role (can include placement)
    • Proven MS office skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Experience maintaining physical and digital records to a professional standard
    • Experience in the use of HR Systems

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

    • Current Associate member of CIPD
    • Previous HR experience in an IT company
