    Your role in the team

     

    Cybersecurity is a highly dynamic field, requiring ongoing education and exploration.  We develop each other by keeping employees current on the latest skill sets through classes, certifications, and conferences. 

     

    If you have experience of Identity Governance, preferably with SailPoint, and would like to make an impact in a dynamic field, you will find our Allstate environment to be collaborative, inclusive, and full of growth opportunities. 

     

    Stepping into this opportunity, you will join the Identity Management Operations team and play a key role in supporting a global transformational change programme as we transition from a fully discretionary access model to a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model.  Join our team, and you'll find challenge and reward in a culture of innovation, support, and balance.

     

    • Administration and support of SailPoint IIQ products.
    • Aid in Allstate’s transition from a fully discretionary access model to a Role Based Access Control (RBAC) model
    • Managing a fully integrated, highly available application environment.
    • Utilizing knowledge of Oracle databases and their interaction with the Solaris/Linux Operating System to support our IDM platform.
    • Reviewing and supporting technical components for complex applications, monitoring of infrastructure components.
    • Planning and executing ITIL activities for incidents, problems, changes and enhancements.
    • Incident investigation, diagnosis and incident resolution.
    • Effectively communicate with peers, quality control, testing and other technology teams.
    • Strong focus on documentation and standards.
    • Administration and support of Identity Manager products and Java language.
    • Utilizing knowledge of Solaris/Linux with basic scripting skills for platform support.

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • Must be a UK/RoI/EU citizen or possess a current UK visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment. EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.
    • 5+ years’ experience in a security or related technology-based role
    • Have at least 3 years’ relevant Identity and Access Management experience (ideally with SailPoint / Sun IdM but also open to other IAM solutions)
    • Identity integrations, including one or more of Active Directory, LDAP, ISAM and other cloud/federated Identity Management systems
    • 2+ years’ experience with SQL queries

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience working with SailPoint IdentityIQ 7.x
    • Experience of supporting various authentication protocols (Kerberos, LDAP, OAuth, SAML, etc.)
    • Scripting experience with JavaScript, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.
    • Knowledge of Java web application development
