  Job Description

  We are excited to announce the establishment of a new Integrations Team within Allstate Canada (ACG) with focus on improving and modernizing the state of ACG integrations.

  We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Systems Analyst to play a key role within this global team which will comprise members from ANI, ACG and ASPL.

  As Systems Analyst, you will work closely with the Business Owner, the Product Owner, and the Technical Lead to define integrations for development within the scrum framework.

  Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):

  • Work with Business Owner and other stakeholders to identify & create system requirements for initiatives.
  • Provide expertise and knowledge on initiatives; touching on differing technologies and product suite groups.
  • Working with Product Owner, Business Analyst & Technical Lead to understand system requirements, process flows, build out user stories and document interface points.
  • Lead information gathering sessions.
  • Understand technical details, integration & functions of multiple applications within the team, document and share best practices.
  • Work effectively as part of a distributed team within agile delivery frameworks.

  Essential Criteria

  • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment. EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a technical role; And
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Development or Systems Analyst type role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP) environments.

  Desirable Criteria

  • Experience developing or designing one or more of the following:
  • API methodologies (SOAP / REST)
  • Messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka / Tibco)
  • Java / Springboot
  • ETL tools (e.g. Talend / Tibco)
  • API Manager (e.g. Apigee)
  • Previous experience working within an Integrations Team.
  • Have experience working in a global team.
  • Experience with documenting interfaces (e.g. swagger interface control documents).
  • SAFe Agile training.

  Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel to Allstate Canada, Toronto for short periods
