    What You Will Do

    As a Digital Consultant and executive assistant, to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), you will have responsibility for both digital consultancy related and executive assistant activities, among others:

    • Lead and manage the development and execution of key digital initiatives
    • Produce proposals for key digital projects
    • Develop an insight and an understanding of digital trends and emerging technologies, and how our competitors and the wider market are utilising these.
    • Work closely with people in the Digital unit along with Business Development, Strategy, and IT areas, across the Danske Bank group
    • Support the CDO in Danske Bank UK to help him achieve the digital goals
    • Handle both managerial and operational tasks on behalf of the CDO
    • Produce executive level presentations
    • Organise and manage the CDO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and handle travel requirements
    • Handle Digital unit finances, e.g. expense reports, purchase requisitions etc.
    • Travel for work to / from any Danske Bank location, primarily in the Nordics and Eastern Europe must be expected.

    In essence, your main responsibilities will be to assist the CDO and Digital team, and to develop and execute on digital strategies and initiatives in close collaboration with colleagues across technology and business domains.

    About You

    You should be able to demonstrate the following:

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • Completed a 3rd level qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, IT, Business Management, or equivalent

    Preferred:

    • Completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management, or equivalent
    • Certification or training in Project Management from PRINCE2, IPMA, PMI, or equivalent

    Experience

    Essential:

    • Good understanding of digital trends and emerging technologies, and how these can be business opportunities and translated into actual solutions
    • Successful management of projects (ideally within digital/IT and throughout delivery lifecycle) and a good understanding of project management disciplines
    • Executive assistant, personal assistant related, or equivalent experience
    • Worked with and managed numerous stakeholders at all levels, incl. negotiating and influencing

    Preferred:

    • Understanding of financial services/banking products, services, and legal/regulatory requirements · Analysis, production and assessment of information and presentations for strategic decisionmaking

    • Can demonstrate a customer-centric approach, and delivery of business results
    • Resourceful in building relationships and collaborate with IT and business professionals, executive management etc.

    • High and creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Results-oriented and ability to deliver high quality at pace (also through others)
    • Proactive, self-motivated and with an Yes We Can attitude
    • Can learn quickly and share knowledge
    • Has a high level of IT literacy

    Your Hours of Work & Salary

    Hours of work will be 35 hours per calendar week. These hours may be averaged over a longer reference period in accordance with the needs of the business, and may include working on Sunday.

    In the first instance your hours will be arranged between 8.00am and 8.00pm Monday to Saturday. These are the Bank's normal hours of work. You may be required to work additional hours as the needs of the Bank demand.

    You will be based in Belfast. However, occasional travels to any Danske Bank location in Europe must be expected.

    Salary Range: Starting from £30,571

    Salary depends on qualifications and relevant experience.

    A 6 month probationary period applies in this role.
