Software Engineer – Principal and Senior level

• Titan IC is a world leader in the development of hardware engines for content and network processing. Its solutions are used in all aspects of network security including: Intrusion Detection/Prevention, application detection, and anti-virus.

  We are undergoing dynamic growth and are currently seeking Software Engineers at Principal and Senior level to drive the development and deployment of our innovative network security technologies and products.

  Essential skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Honours Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in development for Linux platforms
  • Strong C or C++ programming/troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with multi-threading
  • Flexible, organized and able to quickly learn new skills

   

  Desirable skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • A good understanding of scripting languages (shell, Python or Perl)
  • Experience in Linux device driver development
  • Experience in developing embedded software
  • Knowledge of network communication protocols
  • Experience with network security applications

   

  The successful engineers will interact with the business team and customers at all stages of the product life cycle, utilizing their excellent communication and organizational skills within a fast-paced environment.

  Location: Belfast, UK

  Senior level rate: up to £47K based on skillset and experience

  Principal level rate: up to £60K based on skillset and experience
