  The Role

  Proofpoint is looking for a talented UI Lead/Architect to lead the design and implementation of our next generation graphical user interfaces in the Email Security products business unit.  You will be responsible for laying down the foundation of a new robust, highly reliable and scalable UI architecture for all of our Email Security products.  Our product line includes UIs for Email administrators as well as applications which can reach millions of end users every day.  You will also help hire, mentor and provide guidance to a small group of UI developers on new architecture and technologies.  The ideal candidate will have experience with design, architecture and coding for new applications. You will also provide UI technological leadership and strategy for the entire BU.

  Your day-to-day

  • Bootstrap and develop from scratch UI applications in the cloud
  • Be part of a team working on the leading email security product suite in the market
  • Help establish tooling and procedures for next generation front-end stack development
  • Be the voice behind technological direction and decisions about UI strategy

  What you bring to the team

  • Extensive experience in developing UI for high performance applications.
  • Expertise in building high performance web applications
  • Experience in ReactJS, Angular JS, Redux, JavaScript(ES6), and Node.js
  • Great mentor and team player
  • Technical leadership and authority
  • Passionate about automation and repeatability
  • Familiarity with NPM dependency package management
  • Familiarity with Unix Shell Script, SQL, NoSQL
  • Familiarity with agile development
