Senior Technical Recruiter

  • We are looking to hire a stellar in-house Senior Technical Recruiter to join our small but growing talent acquisition function and help the company build our new R&D Labs in Belfast. This is a unique opportunity to build something amazing from the ground up and see your efforts directly impact the company’s success! 
     

    What you will have the opportunity to do:

      • Act as a point of contact for candidates, building relationships with potential new-hires and act as a brand ambassador
      • Perform full-cycle recruiting duties for a variety of IT roles, with a heavy emphasis on sourcing for difficult to fill positions, including initial contact and pre-screening candidates
      • Utilize a metrics approach and provide strategic input to the team regarding longer-term talent acquisition strategies and trends, including recruiting marketing efforts
      • Take a role in various recruitment related events and activities
      • Build and drive the adoption of standardized, scalable hiring processes across the company, providing advice, coaching, and outstanding service to hiring managers in pursuit of achieving their hiring goals
      • Develop and reinforce exceptional standards for our candidates’ recruitment experience, establishing genuine relationships and never failing to provide diligent follow through
      • Drive full utilization of our recruitment platform across all internal teams and stakeholders
      • Adopt a proactive approach to developing local market awareness, keeping up to date with industry developments and trends
      • Build and maintain a wide professional network of candidates and industry contacts
      • Take a role in your continued professional development

    The ideal person will have:

      • At least 4 years’ of full-cycle technical recruitment experience at an agency, in a compnany, or a combination of the two
      • Strong experience in technology based hiring is a must
      • Educated to GCSE level to include maths and English (or equivalent)
      • Impeccable communication skills (both written and verbal) and attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills
      • Experience of meeting hiring and recruitment cycle KPIs
      • Proven track record of sourcing and hiring passive candidates
      • Ability to juggle multiple vacancy requisitions, prioritizing recruitment activities accordingly
      • Experience of building a professional network of peers and candidates to drive candidate sourcing and gain industry awareness
      • Have a genuine excitement for rolling up your sleeves and contributing to all parts of the recruiting process
      • Strong experience with internet recruiting methods, including sourcing products and applicant tracking systems
      • Self-starter mentality; comfortable with ambiguity, limited direction, and establishing something from nothing
      • Creativity, confidence and a relentlessly positive attitude are a must

    You will stand out if you have:

      • An IRP Certificate (Level 3) or above, in In-House Recruitment or Recruitment Practice
      • Experience with the Lever recruitment platform
      • Experience working in the IT or software engineering sector
      • Experience developing and promoting the employer brand and supporting recruitment related cross-channel marketing activities
      • Experience communicating and coordinating recruitment requirements with external agencies
