What you’ll be doing
Work in well-resourced, focused, end-to-end squads to support the consumer experience in the App and Web.
Working full stack: UX, UI and Research.
Leverage UX research to both keep the organization focused on the users’ Job To Be Done and to validate product usability.
Help run design sprints and prototyping.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, marketers, and customer support throughout the Product process, including discovery, testing and scoping to drive successful launches and iterations.
Report to Director of Product Design.
What we’re looking for
4-6 years of UX/Product Design experience, with a good portion designing for transactional/marketplace App and Web products.
Good experience working in design systems.
Strong knowledge of UX Research best practices.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner well across, up and down the organization.
Familiarity with leading design sprints and prototyping.
Great Product Designers and UXers can come from a variety of backgrounds, and so Slice is open to varied education and experience.
Fluent verbal and written English skills
Positive approach to work, and treat others well.
Ability and experience in mentoring others
Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
Strong communication skills
Able to clearly express opinions on product design, while respecting the thoughts and opinions of their peers.
Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers and non-engineering stakeholders alike
