Product Owner

  • At Signifyd we’re creating a new market. We’re constantly improving and expanding the technology that has changed what fraud protection for e-commerce looks like. So we don’t have time for office politics. We understand that different people have different work styles and we thrive on variety while learning from each other. We’re all Signifyers, so we know that what needs to get done will get done.

Signifyd is a place where no one is going to tell you how to do your job. If you want help, you'll get it — from all quarters. But we pretty much figure out what needs to be done, who's in the best position to do it and then let that person roll-up her or his sleeves and have at it. We're protecting retailers from online fraud in a way that's never been done before and we could use your help if you're someone:

    - Who believes challenges are best overcome by thinking differently.

    - Who knows his or her role, but isn’t confined by it.

    - Who’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping customers succeed and achieve their dreams.

    - Who isn’t afraid to disagree, convincingly, civilly and honestly.

Oh, and a few particulars for this role:

We are looking for an exceptional and seasoned product manager to own a new product function for Signifyd and will drive building improved tools and processes to meet the needs of our growing business. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical depth, and a passion for building cool analytical tools.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain product strategy, service-level objectives, and roadmap for the platform.

    • Gather and generate requirements for product evolution based on market analysis, end user interviews, and feedback from internal stakeholders (Engineers and Data Scientists).

    • Represent the consumers of the platform within the agile product team to prioritize features, negotiate scope, and define acceptance criteria

    • Demonstrate product features to internal and external audiences

    • Develop and drive Product GTM plans

    • Create content to support internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success)

    Desired Skills:

    • 3+ years of technical product management experience and a passion for building technical products, especially platforms.

    • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or experience in an Engineering/Product Development role.

    • Highly Analytical. You use data to make decisions and are comfortable gathering it yourself.

    • Results Oriented. You can cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done and when, and work with the teams to get solutions shipped.

    • Solid communication and presentation skills.

What you will get in return:

      • In return, as part of your contribution to our success and to the success of our customers, you’ll receive a benefits package that is one of the most competitive in Belfast;

      • A competitive base salary (with plenty of room for growth)

      • An equally competitive equity package

      • A performance related bonus, paid twice yearly (on target 10% of your annual salary)

      • An attractive pension matched up to 8% (you choose how much you want to pay in)

      • ‘Day one’ access to a great health, dental and optical insurance scheme

      • 25 days of annual leave (in addition to 10 public holidays)

      • Flexibility

      • Great family friendly benefits (12 weeks of full-pay parental leave for mums and dads)

      • A free lunch every day you’re in the office
