    Job Description

    ServiceNow Catalog team is an Agile team focused on both building out new and maintaining existing services to help serve and meet the needs of our large user community spread right across the organization.

    The catalog team constantly develop new services to help simplify and automate the ever-increasing demands of the customer. We integrate and interface with many areas including, voice, finance, security, Mainframe, Oracle, server platforms etc.

    The team operate in an agile scrum environment with daily standups, sprint planning and retrospective meetings all part of the agile cycle. There is a great opportunity to take on new and challenging work both creating front end templates and automating back end integrations using REST calls and Orchestration.

    • You have strong development background both front-end and back-end and good troubleshooting capabilities.
    • You have strong Technical leadership skills and the ability to mentor fellow team members.

    The ideal person will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

    Essential Criteria

    • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in application development in either Java, .Net or JavaScript; and
    • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving production incidents; and
    • Excellent customer facing, communication and organizational skills; and
    • Excellent coaching and Mentoring Skills.
    • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment. EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.


    Desirable Criteria

    • Service Management experience either as an admin or a developer; or
    • Database Experience in terms of maintaining/updating tables and integrating with front end services; or
    • Good understanding of Service Now Functionality and Architecture, or
    • Experience creating and managing Workflows. or
    • System integration experience using web services and other web based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP, JSON, AngularJS; or
    • Experience with JavaScript for ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, – all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system; or
    • Knowledge of Data Analytics
