    Job Description

    We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a Reporting & Analytics Analyst within our Allstate Canada Production Health team.

    The Production Health team is responsible for the availability of all of Allstate Canada’s applications. In particular, the main Policy Administration & Claims applications. We require a Reporting & Analytics Analyst to work with the various teams in providing data for key Performance metrics such as availability, system health, SLA conformance. Metrics around Incident and Defects as well as Corrective Action will also be an important part of the R&A Analysts role.

    The successful candidate must be able to work independently and have the ability to devise visualisations in an easy to read and understanding format. The candidate should be able to work with teams to identify and extract the relevant data required for generating these reports and dashboards.

    The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to learn new skills. The candidate should have ability to work remotely with their peers/team.


    • Apply analytical techniques to draw added value from new and existing datasets.
    • Design and build consolidated datasets from disparate data sources
    • Design and build automated processes to report metrics as required
    • Translate data into visualisations to validate and explain analysis
    • Promotes idea generation from analytical and reporting data
    • Creative problem solver, curious and inquisitive – can navigate a landscape with limited direction
    • Operates with a sense of urgency, passion for the customer and energetic

    Essential Criteria

    • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment. EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.
    • 3+ years’ experience using scripting languages e.g. Python, Scala, Perl, JavaScript, Unix Shell (ksh, csh, bash, etc.)
    • Experience of using Unix, Oracle, Tableau, SQL.

    Desirable Criteria

    • Experience of working within a global team
