    Undergraduate work placement

    These eleven-month placements are for students who need to complete a placement as part of their degree. You'll work alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals on everyday projects. So you'll get a good insight into working life at PwC Research.

    Research and insight role

    PwC Research based in Belfast is PwC’s specialist provider that delivers market research, modelling, analytics, and insight for national and global clients, ranging from FTSE 100 companies to national Governments.

    Put simply, we help our clients to better understand their customers, employees and market channels. We use a variety of data sources & techniques to help turn data into insight.

    We recently undertook a large project for the Market Research Society - did you know that the Research & Data Market has grown by more than £1bn in the last 5 years?

    We are currently looking for ambitious Business Placement Students who have a Technical aptitude and passion for working with data to join our team:

     

    • You'll work alongside others who love data

    • You’ll interrogate, transform, analyse and visualise large datasets using SPSS

    • You’ll develop tangible experience and skills around various online reporting platforms & technologies such as Qlikview & Tableau

    • You’ll help identify trends and patterns in data, helping to provide insight for our clients

     

    If you are keen to develop your technical data capabilities, whilst gaining cross industry experience then this role is for you!

    This role will help support and meet the growth plans for PwC Research. The successful candidates will be mentored and supported by a senior member of staff.

    What you need to get in

    • You'll need to be on course for a 2.1 degree or above and owing to the nature of the work we ask that you have a computer science or other STEM subject related degree

    • You'll need to be on four-year degree programme that features a sandwich placement element
