Intake & Programme Analyst

  • Description

    The role is also responsible for the review and improvement / formulation of processes, to streamline and increase the efficiency of the group and portfolio managerial activities. It directly impacts the Technology Programme Delivery leadership through contribution to planning, budget management and definition of standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the intake of new requirements into the Data and Digital portfolios of work
    • Full ownership of the process, including improvements as required.
    • Review the list of incoming requests, ensuring that sufficient information has been provided by the business
    • Manage the review meetings and disseminate outcomes to impacted parties
    • Help track the Data and Digital group’s schedule, budget, and delivery
    • Manage the production of clear and concise activity / progress and management reports
    • Perform data validation and implement quality control measures to ensure the continued success of programs
    • Ensure reporting consistency across all portfolios of work
    • Create and implement data management collection techniques to streamline the reporting process
    • Manage and participate in the yearly budgeting process for Data and Digital
    • Creating budgetary controls and financial management processes for all portfolios
    • Liaise with Finance, Delivery Director and Portfolio Leads to ensure accurate financial reporting

    Essential Criteria:

    • Extensive knowledge of the project management lifecycle – preferably from a mortgage or financial services environment.
    • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
    • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional.
    • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
