Following on from the success of the Kubernetes Intro, we're moving one step up the stack with an interactive OpenShift Container Platform workshop. This workshop introduces the key elements of Red Hat's OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), based on Kubernetes, and will give you hands-on experience of the following aspects using the latest version (3.7) of the platform running on an AWS hosted cluster:

- Exploring the CLI and Web Console
- Deploying a Docker Image to OpenShift
- Scaling
- Creating Routes
- Exploring OpenShift's Logging Capabilities
- Role-Based Access Control
- Remote Operations
- Deploying Java Code
- Adding a Database (MongoDB)
- Externalizing Application Configurations
- Monitoring Application Health
- Automating Deployment with a CI/CD Pipeline (Jenkins)
- Using Source 2 Image for Code Changes
- Using Application Templates
- Clustering Stateful Java EE Applications

You will need to bring your own computer (MacOS, Windows or Linux). You will also need privilege on that computer to install the OpenShift "oc" client and a browser to access the web console.
