Strategy for Small Businesses Workshop

Business strategy is often treated as a concept that only applies to large businesses, yet it is equally relevant and important for SMEs and micro-businesses.
This workshop will introduce the concept of strategy and how it differs from simple business vision or tactics. Various strategy models will be introduced, explained and used in a practical way. The aim is to help business owners to identify their own strategic position to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

By the end of the session, attendees will come away with:

• An understanding of what business strategy means and how it applies to small businesses
• A guide to the decisions that need to be made when creating a sustainable strategic position
• Practical tools to help you design your own business strategy
• An understanding of how strategy can be dynamic in an ever-changing business environment
