Planning is well underway for an IoT Belfast event at Liberty IT with a Cyber Security theme.

This month Liberty IT have agreed to host IoT Belfast.

Please aim to arrive at 6.30pm for an opportunity to say, "hello", and for some pre-event networking and snacks, kindly sponsored by Liberty IT

The format will be 3 short 15 minute presentations, each followed by 5 minutes of questions.

“Security has always been a major concern for the Internet of Things, but what can we do about it? Threat Modelling provides a framework for analyzing data flows and architectures and understanding where the security risks lie. By doing so we can take a security-first approach in our designs. In the talk we’ll look at the basic techniques of threat modelling as well as going through a pair of worked examples that will demonstrate how threat modelling in IoT differs from the standard software development patterns.”
