Last chance to apply for Support Engineer training places on Microsoft 365 Cloud Assured Skills Academy

  • Applications for a high quality-training place on the Microsoft 365 Cloud Academy close on Friday 27th May.

    Funded by the Department for the Economy, this Assured Skills programme will guarantee participants who successfully complete the Academy an interview with Microsoft for a career in a Support Engineering position with them. 

    Whilst experience is not required, applicants must have a university degree classification 2:2 in any discipline, or have a Level 5 qualification in an IT related subject.

    This program is intended to take Graduates from all backgrounds with a passion for helping customers navigate ever evolving Modern Work technolgies.

    Successful applicants will receive 12 weeks of industry-relevant pre-employment training with Belfast Metropolitan College. Participants can expect to gain industry recognised accreditation and skills in areas such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Security Administration, Microsoft Security Operation Analyst and Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.

    Participants will also receive £155 per week training allowance.

    Microsoft Customer Service & Support themselves are establishing a team in Belfast as part of their world-wide support organisation to offer roles helping some of the World’s largest organisations take advantage of the capabilities provided by these new technologies.  

    The Microsoft Customer Service & Support organisation is responsible for ensuring customers are able to exploit the opportunities offered by the Modern Work technologies, but also act as the voice of the customer to drive continued innovation of the Services themselves working closely with Microsoft’s Engineering Groups. 

    Successful completion of the Academy allows industry-recognised Modern Work qualifications to be obtained and potentially a role with the Microsoft Customer Service & Support team being established in Belfast (starting salary 35K- 40K).
