‘Start2Thrive’ entrepreneurship programme open to female students at further education colleges

  • Enterprise North West will be delivering a female entrepreneurship programme ‘Start2Thrive’ across NI in partnerships with Colleges NI & Ulster Bank.

    ‘Start2Thrive’ is a free programme that will help female students identify business opportunities, validate their ideas and allow them to start a new venture.

    The programme is only open to females from the 6 FE Colleges across Northern Ireland.

    The programme will take place exclusively online and provide access to tailored workshops, case studies, inspirational talks, professional pitches, business coaching and a prize fund of £3,000.

    The programme is suitable for both students who have a business idea they want to take further and for those who do not yet have an idea, as there will be opportunities to launch and grow a new business venture within the programme. 

    There will also be specialist workshops to help students learn from successful business owners and receive practical 1-2-1 mentoring from business leaders.

    The programme will Start in January 2022 and applications are now open.
