Free annual Women Techmakers event happening in Belfast next month

  • Google’s Women Techmakers (WTM) is hosting its free annual technology conference celebrating women in tech on Saturday 4 April at Ulster University, York Street, Belfast.

This full day conference will hear from various speakers who will aim to “inspire, motivate, enthuse and relate” to the audience.

The event will include technical demos, discussions and inspirational career stories, all highlighting the achievements of local women in tech.

There will be an afterparty at the Oh Yeah Music centre immediately after the conference.

WTM is also offering 20 free childcare places to attendees, so that as many people from the tech community as possible can attend the day.

All talks at the conference will include captions in real-time so that those who are hard of hearing or who have attention deficits can enjoy the talks.
