Cybersecurity firm BSI has announced a new global partnership with Proofpoint Inc to tackle issues such as email fraud. Cybersecurity and compliance company Proofpoint Inc is a global industry leader with an expanding portfolio of solutions to many of today's most pressing cybersecurity issues. The firm has best in class technology for email threat detection and end user training, both valuable in the ongoing fight against email fraud.
BSI Cybersecurity has now announced that it's joining forces with Proofpoint in a new global partnership that will see BSI leverage Proofpoint's tech and expertise across BSI's markets. The partnership with BSI's global Centre of excellence for Cybersecurity and Information Resilience will help protect businesses from the kinds of fraud and other threats that are costing UK firms millions each year.
Email fraud in particular has become a major problem in recent years, reportedly increasing by a whopping 80% over the fourth quarter of 2018. BSI will now be able to offer Proofpoint's email protection and training to customers, in addition to its incident management features and other tools to help ensure all compliance requirements are met.
