Insurance tech companies CYTI and Firemelon move into refurbished Moneda House building

  • Insurance tech companies CYTI and Firemelon are set to move into the recently revamped fourth and fifth floors of the Moneda House, at Wellington Place.

The Moneda House building at Wellington Place was recently refurbished as part of a £5m Belfast City Centre investment by Co Tyrone-based developers McAleer & Rushe. Now it's been announced that insurance tech companies CYTI and Firemelon will be moving into the fourth and fifth floors of the building, which also now contains Starbucks on the bottom floor.

Firemelon is a software development firm that develops systems for the insurance sector, and CYTI is in the business of providing technology solutions for insurance comparison websites. Both companies are owned by David Corney, who expressed his excitement at "moving our two businesses into this prestigious development in such a fantastic city centre location" and hopes that it will help them "retain our highly skilled workforce as well as attract the best talent the city has to offer."

Commercial property consultant Osborne King's Richard McCaig said: “We are delighted to welcome Firemelon and CYTI as our first office tenants in the building so soon after our launch. The quality of the scheme is exceptionally high and given its central location we have received a number of enquiries from other tenants." The refurbished building is off to a great start, and there are still three floors remaining (around 10,000 sq ft) for future clients or expansion and a show floor currently available for viewings.
