Five NI Tech jobs to apply for in the new year!

  • The new year is upon us, and for some that may mean it's time for a change of career. If you're planning to really go for it in 2019, there are dozens of roles available in some of Northern Ireland's most impressive tech companies over on Sync NI's regularly updated Jobs board.

    We've selected five roles that are currently open for applications and have broad requirements suitable for a wide variety of individuals.     PwC - Software Engineer

    Allstate - Technical Help Desk Analyst

    Novosco - Technical Services Engineer – Level 3

    Cayan - Platform Data Architect

    Essential Criteria:

    - Proven ability to engage with technical and non-technical aspects of the business to accurately model and abstract the essential parts of our domain.

    - Will work with Cayan’s Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure these non-functional aspects are first-class citizens within our products.

    - This is a technical leadership role, and the Platform Data Architect will have a wide remit. Expected to pursue the right solution path without requiring micromanagement.
    - Expected to identify and engage with the correct stakeholders to feed their decision making, collaboration, and sign-off.
    - Tolerant of high degrees of ambiguity, and capable of resolving uncertainty and setting direction.
    - Creative, investigative and innovative in the approach to domain modeling and business process automation.
    - Effective and comfortable in working with senior management, engineering teams, technical and non-technical customers and stakeholders."
