Irish medical tech firm axial3D wins Emerging Medtech Company of the Year award

  • Irish medical firm axial3D has won the Emerging MedTech Company of the Year category of the Irish MedTech Excellence Awards

    Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Belfast, medical technology firm axial3D specialises in bringing 3D printing to the healthcare sector and delivering personalised anatomical insights with its innovative software and expert services. The company has now won the Emerging MedTech Company of the Year award at this year's Irish MedTech Excellence Awards hosted jointly by the Irish MedTech Association, Enterprise Ireland, and IDA Ireland.

    The awards celebrate companies that have played a leading role in making Ireland a place of choice for global MedTech. A significant level of success has been achieved by axial3D in its short history with partnerships thriving with organisations and healthcare professionals globe wide. The Irish MedTech sector presently employs over 38,000 people in over 450 countries, being the second largest employer of MedTech professionals in Europe. The sector is not planning to slow down with projections of an additional 4,000 employees being added by 2020.
