Thriving Armstrong Medical hosts latest NI Chamber and Danske Bank export event

  • Medical supplies manufacturer Armstrong Medical has shared its success story at the latest Danske Bank Export First Export Forum in partnership with the Northern Ireland Department of Commerce yesterday.

    Established in 1984 to supply the Irish market, today Armstrong Medical manufactures and sells high-quality respiratory disposables for anaesthesia and critical care to over 63 countries around the world. John Armstrong, Manager Director of Armstrong Medical, shared the company’s exceptional growth story with the member of Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday (10th December 2018).

    The NI Chamber’s Danske Bank Export First Exporter Forum has been created to act as a platform for the most successful exporters of Northern Ireland, with journeys being shared to encourage each other to grow and to advance export activity within their own businesses.

    “It really was interesting to hear the success story of Armstrong Medical and how it has grown to become one of Northern Ireland’s leading export businesses," stated the head Danske Bank's North business Centre. A company spokesperson for Armstrong Medical confirmed that "The company now employs 150 people, an increase of 40 in the past 12 months, with further recruitment and investment to support future growth."
