Options to launch 100 new financial technology roles

  • The managed service provider is creating 100 new financial technology positions, in addition to the 100 roles created since the launch of the Belfast office, with roles in engineering, cybersecurity, and marketing.

Options is currently the market-leading provider of cloud-enabled managed services to the global financial services sector, with over 200 firms utilising its reputable, award-winning infrastructure. The new Belfast headquarters will serve as the global training centre for all 250 current employees, and its currently recruiting for a wide range of other roles. Options' significant growth trajectory has not gone unnoticed, and it was named among the UK’s biggest growth companies in the Sunday Times' HSBC International Track 200 league table in 2017 and 2018.

“As well as providing greater opportunity for Belfast’s dynamic and highly educated workforce, the growth of our Belfast operations will help deliver critical support, sophisticated engineering, and secure managed services to Options’ global client base. We are delighted to be part of Belfast’s rapidly expanding financial technology hub and are confident that the breadth of local talent, both technical and non-technical, will ensure our new headquarters, state-of-the-art training facilities, and technology resources are an integral part of our mission to transform the sector", commented Danny Moore, Options’ Chief Operating Officer.

Options is going from strength to strength after a significant growth investment from Bergal Sagemount, an NY-based equity firm, and “the opening of the new offices in Adelaide Street will ensure Options continues to raise the bar for service excellence and cement the next phase of growth for the firm”, concluded Stephen Morrow, Options SVP, Head of Account Management.

More information about the expansion can be found on the Options website.
