Tourism Ireland announces management changes as it prepares for future growth
Tourism Ireland today announced a number of senior management appointments to strengthen its Northern Ireland and Emerging Markets teams and align with future growth opportunities ahead of the development of its next three-year corporate plan (2020-22).
In support of accelerating opportunities in Emerging Markets like China, India and the Middle East, Aubrey Irwin has been appointed to the new post of Manager – Emerging Markets. He will work with tourism businesses across the island of Ireland to increase industry awareness of, and engagement in, these increasingly important markets. A further post of Manager – Asia will be advertised in the coming weeks.
Shane Clarke assumes strategic responsibility for Northern Ireland, as Director of Corporate Services, Policy & Northern Ireland. He will be responsible for evolving and building on Tourism Ireland’s ambition in relation to overseas tourism to Northern Ireland. Also in support of these objectives, a further post of Stakeholder Liaison Manager – Northern Ireland will be recruited shortly.
