Jonathan Williamson joins EY Northern Ireland as Chief Operating Officer

  • EY have announced that Jonathan Williamson has joined EY Northern Ireland as Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Jonathan will work with Partners across all Service Lines to deliver ambitious strategic growth at EY Northern Ireland.

    In this new appointment, Jonathan will oversee the day-to-day operational functioning and productivity of the business. He will work closely with all EY teams from each of the service lines to help improve the efficiency of the services EY Northern Ireland provides to clients.

    Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He joins EY Northern Ireland from PwC where he worked for nineteen years. During that time, he worked in External Audit, Finance Consulting and PwC Operate, which is PwC’s Managed Service and Operational Delivery Business.

    In more recent years, Jonathan served as the Chief Commercial & Risk Officer on the Executive Board of Operate and as part of the leadership team, was focused on driving its growth. Jonathan holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Queen’s University, Belfast and a Masters degree in Accounting from Ulster University.

    Jonathan Williamson commented on his new role, he said: “I am delighted to be joining the EY Northern Ireland team and to be working with a firm with such a strong vision and ambitious growth plans, which I will further contribute to in my role as COO.
