Danske Premiership players score for Age NI

  • Danske Bank has donated £600 to its charity partner Age NI because 12 hat-tricks were scored during the 2015/16 Danske Bank Premiership season.

    The Bank had pledged to donate £50 for every hat-trick scored. Linfield’s Andy Waterworth proved to have the scoring touch, netting four of the twelve hat-tricks last season.

    Nicola McCleery, Head of Marketing for Danske Bank, said: “At Danske Bank, we were delighted that we could use our sponsorship of the Danske Bank Premiership for the benefit of society. In this case, to raise funds for our charity partner, Age NI.

    “Thank you to all the players for their goal scoring efforts this past season, the hat trick campaign has been a great success.”

    Siobhan Casey, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Age NI said: “We are delighted to have worked with Danske Bank and the Northern Ireland Football League on their hat trick campaign.

    “In our third year of partnership with Danske Bank, this has proved to be an innovative way to raise money to support vital care services for older people. The donation is a welcome boost to the work we are doing in local communities all over Northern Ireland.”
