  • Leading technology organisation, Liberty Information Technology (Liberty IT), has secured additional city centre space to facilitate the expansion of its thriving Belfast office.

An anchor business on Adelaide Street for nearly twenty years, Liberty IT has taken steps to increase its presence there by expanding its current offices into an adjacent building within Adelaide Exchange. The extensive refurbishment of 21,000 sq ft brings the company’s total office space to 65,000 sq. ft. in Belfast and is due to be completed in September 2016. It will incorporate state-of-the-art IT facilities including a variety of different spaces suitable for meetings, demonstrations and presentations, and will provide an optimal environment for collaboration between employees.

William Hamilton, Managing Director of Liberty IT, welcomed the news of the expansion commenting, “Expanding and modernising our office will strengthen our global IT capabilities, allowing us to continue diversifying the software, infrastructure and cloud based services and solutions that we provide. This is an important milestone, positioning us for future growth and enabling us to remain as an IT industry leader.”

“In recent years, Liberty IT has been recognised as a Great Place to Work in both the UK and Ireland and as such, we believe it’s crucial to invest in the space where our employees work”, added Cathy Donnelly, HR Director. “We are delighted to announce our new premises at Adelaide Exchange and look forward to offering new cutting-edge workspaces and IT facilities in the coming months.”
