Hackathons hold significant value in developing potential sustainability solutions and greatly benefit the community by providing the opportunity to learn practical skills on cutting-edge technologies in an increasingly competitive employment marketplace. HackTheHub has attracted hundreds of participants with over 20 projects launched, with teams going on to develop solutions internally or participating in accelerators to further refine solutions.

Conor Graham from Nigma, a highly innovative product development studio that works with clients to bring their idea to life had this to say: “In Clare Colvin’s and Brendan McGurgan’s Simple Scaling they refer to “Culture being the unspoken message that people receive about what is valued in your business. For any technology organisation, it’s your responsibility to be at the forefront of innovation, for both themselves and their clients.

Nigma’s continuous involvement in what often can be viewed as the “soft stuff” is our commitment to continuous learning, strengthening relationships with partners and those within the community that share the same philosophy of taking risks, challenging assumptions and experimenting. We’re super excited for Saturday and we can’t wait to see what the team’s come up with.”

The event is currently sold out but you can sign up to hear about our upcoming hackathon by joining our newsletter at hackthehub.com
